Tomorrow afternoon tuition is cancelled. Boy need to stay back in school for his Chinese Orchestra practice.
My first thought was that I can bring Keane out or do some activities with him. Though I give tuition at my own house (with Keane in the house), I still feel that I am not able to give him as much attention as he wants from me. That is why sometimes he will "disturbed" me by coming into the study room and asked me to "bao bao".
In order to grab as much time as I can with him, I ended up hurrying him for taking his own sweet time during dinner time or even bathing. Quality time with him is actually very little. This is especially so since he began schooling. He will either nap after he comes back from school or eat his lunch first. My afternoon tuition then begins (can't do activities or play with him). When my tuition ends, I need to cook, feed and then bathe Keane. By then, it's already time for Keane to go to bed so that he will have enough sleep for his school the next day (lest he become grouchy). I really don't want to end up being a mum who only scold/discipline, fed and bathe him. I also told hubby that we need to have at least one day for family time despite his busy working schedule. And when I say family time, I mean the three of us only.
Having said all that, I am usually very happy when my students can't make it for tuition or when I do not have tuition. I really wanted very much to spend time with him ALONE. Without his grandparents or whoever to come spoiling my plan with Keane (except hubby of course). I get really upset when my "off " day to spend time with Keane is being interrupted, especially if I have plans already. ARGH!!!
Brought Keane to Macdonald's for breakfast before going to school. It was drizzling when we left Macdonald's. I had to carry Keane, his and my bags and also hold the umbrella as we walked to his school. Surprisingly, I didn't perspire and pant when we arrived there. :) I guess I've got use to carry Keane and many stuffs at the same time already. Haha. I handed Keane to Teacher Rosalind and he waved bye bye to me as he sobbed (the other times he only cried without waving bye bye to me). As usual, I went to HQ to chant before I went to fetch Keane. Chatted with some parents as we stood outside waiting for the class to end. "My grand daughter told me that one boy poo-ed yesterday, and the whole class became very smelly," En en's granny told me. "Oh. It was my son. Haha. Teacher Rosalind said he poo-ed twice yesterday. I only put one diaper in his bag so when he poo-ed the 2nd time, he has no diaper to wear until he reached home!" I laughed. Just then, Teacher Rosalind opened the door. Keane smiled and walked towards me. :) Teacher Rosalind told me that Keane poo-ed in class today again. I was concerned whether Keane interacts with other students, and she told me that Keane is slowly "interacting" with them; he disturbed the others while they were doing their paintings (-_-") etc. Heh, I am sure that Keane will slowly pick up appropriate social behaviour.
