After my morning tuition and lunch, I brought Keane to the Zoo. Had promised to bring him there after we seen the advertisement on TV together...
As it rained almost a day yesterday, the weather was very cooling. I decided that today was the best time to go. I wanted to spend as much time with him as the school holidays are coming to an end soon...
We took bus 22 to AMK and then bus 138 to the Zoo. It was a long bus ride... but well, I was equipped with books, toys, water and biscuits to keep him happily occupied. I also wore a nursing sleeveless shirt for easy nursing.
Keane was happy throughout the journey because he knew where we were heading - the Zoo. I told him that today was actually his 2nd visit to the Zoo. He has no recollection of his 1st visit because he was only 1 then. I also told him what animals we will be seeing over there and took the opportunity to practise phonics which he learned in his Zoo toddlers class.
The Zoo was packed with visitors by the time we arrived... and the queue was all the way up to Night Safari... However, we did not wait very long to get my ticket (Keane enters for free). Thumbs up for the efficient service!
Darling Keane refused to walk and insisted that I carried him... I don't really blame him though... I mean, he couldn't see the animals with his height... So I've got to carry him up high for him to have a good view at the animals. He also requested me to find certain animals for him and I obliged of course. Afterall, that's my purpose of bringing him to the Zoo! I am happy just to see him happy...
However, as time was limited (we spent a long time on the bus ride), I didn't bring Keane to the Kidz Rainforest... I told him I'd bring him there again another time and he nodded. Hmm, darling Keane can be really sensible...
I'm also thankful for those who helped take pictures for me and my son... :)
Enough said, here are the pictures and Merry Christmas to all!
