Update on darling Keane in Soka Kindergarten (-_-")
1st day of school (6 Jan 2010). As expected, darling Keane cried. After he calmed down, he saw my dad in the school premises. Thinking that grandpa is there to pick him up from school, he started to cry when he can't go to him... Well, my dad is a staff working there. Darling Keane insisted that he can call gong gong and not followed the rest to call Uncle Tan.
2nd day of school (8 Jan 2010). [During orientation period, the children attended the school on alternate days till 13 Janaury where the children will attend from Mon to Fri.] According to the teachers, Keane cried a little. Good improvement.
3rd day of school (12 Jan 2010). Keane stopped crying. :) I told him while he was having lessons, mummy is at the next building chanting (I even showed him the chanting room). Darling Keane told me,"You go chanting and wait for me to come out, ok?"
Subsequently till today, I can see that darling Keane enjoys going to school, but he stubornly refused to admit so. He still misses his friends in Apple Tree playgroup and Teacher Liza and claimed that they are better. Anyway, I don't want him to compare Apple Tree and Soka Kindergarten. I just want him to go to school happily, learn and develop into wholesome individual. However, I am glad that Apple Tree and Teacher Liza had gave him precious memories. I believed he will grown to love Soka Kindergarten and the teachers too. These days, darling Keane started to talk about the teachers and what he learned in school; he didn't mention about his classmates though.
Me: You made any friends?
Keane: No.
Me: Why? You didn't play with them?
Keane: I don't want. They are very noisy. One tall boy very noisy!
Me: Really? Is it because you miss your friends in Apple Tree?
Keane: (nodded his head) Mummy, where are they? Where is Teacher Liza?
Me: They went to other kindergartens. Teacher Liza went to another centre to teach too. You've grown, you will make new friends, ok?
Keane: I don't know.
...... Darling Keane, don't worry, you will definitely make new friends! Mummy loves you!
