Today is the first day of class in Apple Tree. Parents were allowed and in fact encouraged to attend the lesson with their child. The theme for this week is red. Hence everything they learned is associated with the colour red, eg. red apple, red ball, strawberry etc. Songs, games and stories are also covered. Eating in class is strictly not allowed to prevent cases of HFMD... During the 5 minutes break where kids drink their water or visit the toilet, Keane requested for biscuits... I explained to him that he cannot eat in class and he cried a little... We were also told that in the event of birthdays, we can buy a cake for the kids to sing birthday song BUT have to pack them in boxes for the kids to take home... Eh... That's about it...
