Brought Keane to visit his great grandmother, i.e. my grandma in Alexandra hospital 2 days ago. My parents reminded us not to bring Keane there as there will be lots of germs and bacteria. I agreed. But then my husband said that she didn't have many chance to see baby... and so we decided to bring baby along. The next day, Keane developed a fever... 38 degess celcius... Funny thing is, Keane was his normal self and did not show any signs of discomfort. However, we are still very worried, so we took him to a doc. Keane hates the taste of the medicine... especially the antibiotics. We tried all means to 'fool' him into taking his medicine, but he was so sensitive to the taste that he immediately turned his head away and pursed his lips so tight that we can't force the medicine in... He cried when we insisted and even spat out the medicine... :( He also refused to eat his food as he know we had mix the medicine into it... To sustain his hunger pangs, he drank lots of breastmilk... Despite so, we still tried to coax him to at least take abit of his medicine... and sometimes, he will obliged by taking a little... We are really glad when his temperature decreases to 36.78 degrees celcius today . :)
