Earth Hour 2010 is happening this Saturday 27 March 2010,local time 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm! It is a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community throughout the world to stand up, to take responsibility, to get involved and lead the way towards a sustainable future.
I believed families would find it very difficult to switch off all lights and electricity with young kids around! I would get darling Keane involved by first letting him know about the significance of Earth Hour and that we were will switching off lights for an hour and that we can only use torch lights or candles. We would then play shadows games or said stories too. I would leave the fan on too, or else darling Keane will perspire! When darling Keane is older, we can join the crowds in the Earth Hour Concert and Carnival. :)
