The egg if not cook, is liquid.
If not fully cook, is half boiled egg, which we add dark soya sauce and sometimes pepper to it.
If fully cook, is hard boiled egg, the one he is eating now.
If fried, is fried egg.
If steamed, is steamed egg.
Inside is actually an unborn chick of a hen/mummy Chicken...
Darling Keane, "Where is the chick now?"
Mummy, "Eh, it's hard boiled now....."
Keane,"No... it's egg yolk!"

I asked him to use the spoon to knock on the shell.
"Mummy! There's a crack!"
