After my tuition, I specially brought darling Keane to Hougang Mall for the Firm Foundations Family Carnival, for family with children aged 2 to 6. There were interactive stage shows, art and craft activities , photo-taking opportunities etc. What attracted me was the free dental screening for kids. I told darling Keane that I'm bringing him to check his teeth and that he must not misbehave in the bus and at the event. He was eager to have his teeth checked by a dentist and he promised to be good. We then set off with storybooks and activities books to keep him occupied. We took bus 72 from Tampines Interchange and got the bus driver to alert me when it's time to alight. Darling Keane kept his promise and our bus journey was great. :) When we arrived, I was also pleased with his good behaviour to queue up, his ability to listen to instructions and his courage. Darling Keane, being small sized, some kids tend to cut his queue etc... You know, some parents simply let their kids be... In order to protect him, I will then talk at the top of my voice, "Keane be careful! Says Excuse me!"... Usually parents will feel embarassed and stop their kids but some simply hack care... Anyway, the world is made up of different kind of people!
