Login to MSN yesterday night. And an ex VS boy of mine text me... He asked if I still remember who he was. I replied of course; he was my Sec 3 boy in 2004.
HIM: Why didn't u say 'hi' then?
ME: I thought you don't remember me?
HIM: Of course I do! You were like one of the few teachers in my list!
ME: Oh...

He's turning 19 this year and is now serving NS. I told him I am married with a 16 months old son. He was shocked as I did not update them, or rather him. In fact, I was MIA from MSN for almost one whole year...
It was a nice feeling when your students remember you... and shares with you their thoughts, happiness and even sadness... Just late last year, one ex-student from VS (Sec 1 boy in2003) called with a sad and shocking news -- another ex student, died in an accident! ... He told me they were at the wake with the school principal and thought I might want to know about it...
I have to admit that I am glad that they still consider me as their teacher despite the fact that I had left the school... Memories of VS flashed back... Perhaps I should go back to teach?... Maybe not... baby is my priority now and I know I don't want to miss his growing up phase. Hence, tuition offers flexibility and allows me to keep abreast with the school curriculum.
Now to begin with a different note, I went online to search for playgroups...
Found Cherie Hearts! They have playgroups for 18 months! Will call on Monday to find out more! :)
Jieyin came this morning for tuition. Keane really adores her! Whenever he sees her, he will flash his cutest smile! Sometimes, he even wanted her to carry him instead of hubby and me! Sheesh!
