Homework - "Letter M m"
Instructions: Do a fridge magnet.
Child can cut out pictures/sports/character etc he likes and
decorate it with sparkles or colour them.
Glue onto a clothespin/clip to hold notes and attached a magnet.
After revising the alphabets, charade the sound
as well as singing the letter Mm song,
we discussed about the insects and things he likes.
As he has interest in lots of things, I narrowed it down to insects.
In the end we settled on making a butterfly magnet.
Butterfly is colourful and we can use shapes to decorate it. :)

We got a card board and I drew a butterfly on it.
We also decided to use a wire as the feelers and for holding a message
(instead of using clothespin or clip).
We also took out a flat magnet from one of our fridge Aussie money magnets.

Darling Keane coloured the body. :)

These coloured shapes were cut by me when I taught in the childcare.
Darling Keane named the colours and shapes for me before we glued them.

Ah-CHOOOOOOOOOOoooo!
The sneeze came too quick for both darling Keane and me to react!
Darling Keane innocently asked me,"Is the butterfly dirty?"

Continue to glue the shapes.

Done!
We can now cut out the butterfly.
As the card board is quite of hard, I helped him to cut it.

Attached the feelers and magnet.
The craft glue couldn't stick it on...
So we used double-sided tape.

Done!
It's now ready to hang notes!
