Signed Keane up for the Zoo Toddlers programme in Zoo Phonics last month. Today is the first lesson, from 9.30 am to 11 am. It is a parent-accompanied programme.
9.30 am to 10.30 am - English lesson. They have story, crafts, songs and movements etc. I must say Teacher Norin is really good and she sings really well! The atmosphere was liven up and Keane enjoyed himself! They were given instruments to shake as they sang songs and picked up paper flowers around the classrooms! What fun they had! They also learned alphabets A to E and their sounds (phonics), as well as the fruit pumpkin! The toddlers took turns to touch the exterior and interior of the pumpkin, and then did a craft of it.
10.30 am to 11 am - Chinese lesson taught by a China teacher... Perhaps the toddlers are getting restless after an hour of activity, some of them started to move about and even cried. Keane was still pretty ok, except he wanted to eat his biscuits. (-_-") Anyway, she taught them the colour yellow, fruits that are yellow in colour (lemon, banana etc). They also sang songs in Chinese and did a craft of pasting a duck (yellow)...
I took some pictures before his lesson, but did not take any during the lesson, as I was busy guiding Keane in his singing, dancing and crafts etc. So well, here they are...
