Bought the pair mummy kangaroo and baby joey at Ikea.
Darling Keane adores them, especially the joey!
He chose them among the other pairs of animals he saw there.
I finally relented and bought the pair for him.
Darling Keane loves the joey.
He plays with the joey.
He shares his toys with the joey.
All of a sudden, a sense of sadness overwhelmed me...
Is he lonely? Does he want a playmate?
I told darling Keane that mummy kangaroo wants baby joey back.
He turned to look at mummy kangaroo and said,"Wait ok?"
He continued to play with the baby joey...
He also asked mummy kangaroo to give baby joey milk...
Darling Keane finally realised I was taking his pictures, again.
We then started to pretend play; mummy kangaroo is going to
hunt for food and leave baby joey to play with Keane kor kor.
Darling Keane suddenly got very serious and stopped pretend play...
He even cried very hard!!!
I was taken aback... I asked him what happened...
He said he wants mummy; mummy cannot go work!!
I realised he linked me and himself to mummy kangaroo and baby joey!
I explained to him that we were just pretending...
But he just wouldn't stopped crying...
A child's mind and heart is really very fragile...
I hugged him and told him that mummy kangaroo loves joey,
just like how much I love him...
No matter what happens.
