After Keane woke up from his nap, I did an activity with him. I drew a circle and Keane kept saying "ball"... (-_-"). I introduced the shape circle to him and showed him pictures and examples of a circle. I then gave him some crepe paper to tear into small pieces which he will need to paste inside the circle.
After the activity, I played a rhyme from the book we borrowed from the library. :)
Keane woke up at 5 plus this morning when his daddy was preparing to go for work... He did not go back to sleep even after his daddy left... I was very sleepy and leave him alone to flip his board books... Keane was upset (jealous) when he saw me hugging Pooh bear to sleep :p He cried as he pulled Pooh bear away and crawled into my arms. Haha! So we went back to dreamland together... My mum came at 9am and I literally jumped out of bed... We are going to be late for the trial playgroup at 10am!! I quicky woke Keane and get ourselves ready... Phew!!
At the Trial
Rachel began the lessons with songs. Keane did not participate initially as he is more interested in the environment and the unfamiliar faces. Rachel's son, Roy, who is a month younger than Keane, also joined in.
After that, they were given some sort of plastic puzzles to put into the containers.
They also did a craft using glue to stick circles of papers to form something. I helped Keane formed an ice-cream with it.
Next, they were given coloured creams (edible) to feel the texture and mixed them together. Keane hesitated for awhile before he engaged in it.
Story-telling was the last agenda... though Keane was seated quietly but he was actually observing the bubbly and active Roy... (-_-")
-The End-
*Thanks Rachel for providing some of the pictures!*
We then went to have our lunch. Mum has something on and left after that. I then brought Keane to the library. He walked around and flipped the books that he managed to get. He pointed the pictures and I'll tell him what it is.
We left for home after borrowing books on Rhymes, music and crafts. It was raining...
