Saw this ILC Bus advert on the net and decided to bring darling Keane along. Thanks to my BK and his "girlfriend", we need not take a bus and walked a long way down to Marine Cove.

Brought Keane to see Orchard Christmas lightings after his nap.
Ran into Madam Lim in the feeder bus, I couldn't recognised her at first. She smilingly gave up her seat for me to sit with darling Keane. I hesitated because she is a senior citizen... But she insisted that I took the seat... In the end, I sat down...
I found her very familiar and asked her, "Eh, are you Madam Lim?" She smiled broadly and nodded. She was all dressed up and even wore a wig! No wonder I couldn't recognised her! She was on her way to support her husband who will be performing that night for our SSA's building fund. She asked if I could handle it alone, having to carry baby and the bags etc.
Of course I can, I told her. All I know is I will not deprived my son of anything as long as it is within my means; I don't want him to feel like he has missed out anything in life. I want to bring him to see the lightings because I know he likes it, even if it means that I will have to squeeze with the people in the buses and trains. Madam Lim nodded and smiled.
We parted when we arrived at Tampines Interchange. The MRT was crowded and I deliberately stood in front of a youngster who had occupied the priority seats for the elderly, disabled, pregnant ladies and those with kids. She got my hint and gave up her seat. Haha! Well... I mean that was actually nice of her to let me have the seat (even though it was a priority seat), because most of the time, people simply ignored those signs. And when that happens in crowded buses and trains, I will just have to be very careful so that darling Keane will not fall together with me.
