Morning...
This was my first time enrolling darling Keane to the activites organised by the CC.
It stated Handicrafts for children - 3D Animals and Dino, from 9.30am to 11am.
Passion cards members just need to pay $12 and $6 for materials.
Darling Keane loves dinosaurs, so I decided to try it out.
Although I can do the crafts with him at home,
I thought it'd be good to let him try it in a different environment, with other kids.
Finally this day arrived and I happily brought Keane over.
To my disappointment... It was not what I expected.
I thought it'd be something like...
using the toilet rolls or card boards etc to make the 3D dinos and animals.
Instead the teacher (I'd better not reveal her name and picture)
gave the 5 kids (including my son) ready-made dinos and animals.
All they need to do was take out the parts and join them together...
She gave each of them 6 pieces altogether...
Argh, super not worth it!
Oh my! I can do a much better job than her!
The crafts we did with the kids at the childcare were even better too!
To think she even went on TV and newspaper!
I tried my best not to show my displeasure!
Anyway, I tried very hard to show a smiling face,
for the sake of darling Keane.
Putting them together.
Done 2 already.
4 more to go.
Add some glue to the parts because it keeps falling off.
Altogether 6. ($6 material fees. $1 each!)
And for goodness sake, the kids finished them around 45 minutes!
The lesson supposed to be 1 and a half hour.
She even said, "Wow, you all finished so fast!"
To drag time, she made them tell stories.
The kids can't really tell stories and well...
you know what I mean...
I even stayed on till an hour before I tell her
I'm leaving first with my son!
What a waste of time and money!
