Our fish tank was left to collect dust after the guppies died...
Was packing the house recently and hubby decided to give/throw away.
What a waste, I thought.
I decided to recycle it by turning it into a cactus garden.
Darling Keane was happy when I told him about the idea.
"Can we put a snail in it?" he asked.
Erm, our previous snail died too...
Well, we've better stop "killing" lives and just stay put with greenery...
Small creatures are better off living in their natural habitat...
Darling Keane is all ready to lend me a helping hand!
Put the pebbles first.
Spread them out...
Pour in the potting mix.
Darling Keane did this by himself!
No spills! Excellent job!
Add soil and fertiliser.
We took lesser time to finish the cactus garden than I expected.
Darling Keane, despite his small build, is actually much stronger now
and can help me with lotsa things.
