At 1.30pm, we went to collect the 3 kg birthday cake at Beijing Confectionary. Thereafter, we headed to Downtown East Costal Sands Resort and checked into our chalet around 2.20pm. We were allocated Blk D Room 1415, bbq pit 15.
After our late lunch, we did some simple decoration in the room, blew some balloons and put on the Happy Birthday banner which we have been re-using it since darling Keane is 1 year old.
We watched the television while we waited for the BBQ stuffs to arrive. Actually I was worried about bringing the food into the chalet as we do not have a trolley (The wholesaler doesn't provide a trolley too!) ... However, it seemed that we had been protected by the Gohonzon because dad and mum arrived exactly at the time the BBQ wholesaler arrived! Dad also managed to get us a trolley and solved our shifting problems! Everything seemed to fall into place naturally. Really appreciate their help!
Brother and wife also helped to pick up our grandmother (Keane's great grandmother) and our little cousins, whom Keane addresses them as aunt or uncle. They were the early birds! Good, they kept Keane company by playing with him.
Some of the guests lost their way and couldn't find there way to the chalet. They mistook it as Pasir Ris Costal Sands Resort... It should be the one at Downtown East... My neighbours were lost and eventually decided to head home as they had 3 children... So sorry about it!
Nevertheless, we sincerely thank all those who were present for Keane's birthday. Thank you very much for the presents etc! Sorry for being a poor host too!

We will be celebrating darling Keane's birthday today at Downtown East Costal Sands Resort this evening! We have been preparing darling Keane for it. He helped to paste the stamps on the envelopes of his birthday invitation cards and posted them etc. We also went to buy the necessities at SKP and booked a cake together. He did all that happily and he looked forward to his birthday. This day has finally arrived! We told him that many people will this evening for his birthday, hence he must not be rude or cry. We also told him that we will be staying overnight at the chalet for 3 days 2 nights, so he may bring along his bolster if he wants. He nodded obediently. After that, we prayed that everything will goes well and that it will not rain this evening, else we can forget about barbequeing and singing birthday song in the outdoors. He chanted and told Gohonzon, "Please don't rain..." :)
